I agree the biceps curl with plates does not allow as much weight as traditional barbells or dumbbells, and it won't aid in aesthetic muscle growth as much as traditional exercises. However, there may be more carry over to practical day to day labor such as lifting or carrying fence posts, bags of fertilizer or salt, or even moving boxes of shingles or nails. Jeff Cavalierre has shown a similar exercise except Jeff's version keeps the plate parallel to the floor with the intent of focusing the forearms and brachiallis. Комментарий от : @kelleysauer1693 |

Dr.Joe definitely has some weird and almost unnecessary lifting techniques. I really only look to him for new accessory moves, because after decades of squats I just want to try more moves that hit the muscles in new and innovative ways.
