| I could see a "Search for Gamora" themed movie, with Adam Warlock/Magus being the villain. MCU does clear foreshadowing so cmon Rocha, Peter looking for Gamora in his ship scanner means something for later. Something tells me the Soul Stone will be reformed too and it'll be tied to Adam's redemption & Gamora being united with her childlike self from Infinity War, which was never addressed. We might get Beta Ray Bill too though 🤔And Gamora didn’t get dusted. It’s because Gamora ended up fighting on their side against Thanos. The way I see it, Tony basically said to himself “Get rid of anybody that’s on Thanos’ side or is fighting alongside him” when he snapped. So Gamora just left for some reason which I actually have a problem with. And to answer Perri about why Gamora flipped sides so fast: Gamora always hated Thanos since he killed her family and race and took her. She always planned on betraying him. Don't know the reason for the runtime cut, but 30mins would be a more appropriate cut without affecting content and pace drastically. Been watching the various iterations of Movie Talk since John was stuffed into a closet for AMC, and it was never this short.  | My commentary below about the Collider crew speculation regarding a certain inter-character dynamic in Guardians of the Galaxy with SPOILERS from Avengers: Endgame. You've been fairly warned. * * * * * At 34:30, the Collider Crew speculates about the new dynamic that Quill will have with a Gamora from an earlier timeline, joking that Peter Quill always seems to be in pursuit of her. I hope the director James Gunn will take the opportunity to address what I often think is a missed opportunity in this oft used sci-fi trope of time-displaced/alternate dimension/cloned dopplegangers that provide second chances. The issue I have is that characters experiencing such tropes seem to all-too-easily get over the existential crisis of having truly lost someone and have a "replacement" that does not have the same set of shared experiences that the prior incarnation had, i.e., Quill HAS to be able mourn the Gamora he shared adventures with in Guardians 1 & 2 and Infinity War, because if we are to define a person by their collective experiences, "early" Gamora is NOT the same person as "original" Gamora, and there has to be the very real possibility that sometimes in the formation of relationships, timing is everything, and maybe the stars won't align for Peter Quill and early Gamora to get back together again if you want to raise the stakes for personal drama. And Quill should certainly feel conflicted about it, because how could he reconcile honoring his relationship with original Gamora by "moving on" to early Gamora as if original Gamora's death was rendered meaningless by a cosmic "load saved game"? I think there could be some strong emotional beats from Quill if they really pushed this existential quandry, i.e., Quill wanting to recover what he lost, Quill having to realize he can never truly get the "same" Gamora back, Quill resenting the "early" Gamora for reminding him too intensely of "his" Gamora, the guilt of moving on (even if it's with the same person), "early" Gamora being resentful of the assumption they have to be together for reasons that never happened for her, etc. Edit: Minor changes for clarification, including some pronouns and proper names, especially since this scenario is so...timey wimey.
