 | My top three fears are so stupid… iii. Vulnerability ii. Caterpillars i. Chlorinated bodies of water Unfortunately, there aren’t official names for any of these. My first fear also isn’t technically of the actual chlorinated water, it’s of a chemical called chloramine, which is a combination of chlorinated water and bodily fluids such as urine and sweat. I know, it’s oddly specific, but I have my reasons. Anyway, chloramine is a basic result of having a chlorinated body of water and human skin interact, so I just say “I’m afraid of chlorinated bodies of water.” If there were a name, I’d call it “chloraminophobia” or something, but because I’m not a scientist or anything, I don’t get to officially name it. But… wait… if it doesn’t have a name already, and I’m basically the first person to have it, therefore being it’s discoverer… doesn’t that mean, official scientist or not, I get to name it..?
