This video is like one of those movies where somebody is telling a story about a legend that happened in Mexico and you temporarily forget where you are and what you're doing. Great video and great editing 👍🏾

@Skibbidyboobop
Something is missing. It's either in the sound mixing or his emphasis on plucking certain strings with more force at certain times that truly makes each melody stand completely on its own, this making it sound like two guitars. It's where some of his genius lies. Great job bringing this amazing song to more people.

@Rose_Castle
My brother was OBSESSED with this on guitar for ages. Watching him play it was like when I first started watching ice hockey, my eyes could not keep up.

Thank you, Paul. Your coverage of Lindsey has greatly increased my already high respect for him.

@1carusjohn32
Breaking this down is one thing and hard enough to get your head around. But the concept of sitting there one day, having an idea like this then executing it is quite special. In some ways on par with Newton contemplating why apples fall or Galileo rationalising that the planets go around the sun. Genius has many forms it seems.

@dwaynepenner2788
The G Sus Extended is a most interesting chord in the whole video

@darrinheike1495
As a drummer also I am always blown away at how some slightly technical riff or rudiment performed at a high bpm sounds impossible...For example the intro to Wanted Dead or Alive/Bon Jovi...Super simple and kinda fun to play.

@sniffableandirresistble
Why he got so good is because Stevie Knicks was a waffle waitress and on her tips and because it was more humane in the late 60's and early 70's was able to afford and provide an apartment for them and thus time and space for Lynsey to practice, concentrate deeply, undistracted, and grow exponentially as a musician ❤

@kitsune_7_451
I have decided to start learning how to finger pick and I started out with dust I the wind by Kansas and got so good at the info riff I could play it super fast then I tried Rhiannon and got bored with that then my dad showed me the live acoustic and I thought it was going to be hard but when I tried it I nailed the intro riff then I learned the chorus and now I’m working on employing the bass part to the chorus and I’m starting to get really good at that and my progress in learning of big love has only been in about a hour of practice time
Комментарий от : @kitsune_7_451

@kerngehirn
I think (think!) that the fourth base note is again an f. and when you play the solo, is it maybe possible, that that when playing the double d string, there should be a b string in between?
Комментарий от : @kerngehirn

@gasparmamede4529

Just look at the most watched bit of this video!!!! (or any guitar tuition video!). THAT is the hardest bit to play!

After 2 months, I "think", I "might" have that syncopated bar sussed at 0.25 speed. - Nightmare! Never Going back Again was a breeze compared to this 1 bar!!!

@davidzuleger6077
I JUST LOVE FLEETWOOD MAC...AND IT TOOK ME YRS TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY "BIG LOVE".... IT'S DEFINATELY "NOT" A SONG TO LEARN AS AN AMETURE...YOU NEED TO BE A BIT SEASONED FIRST...AND YOU DEFINATELY CANNOT HAVE CARPOL TUNNEL...OR ARTHRITIS...LOL...LOL
TO LEARN THIS TUNE MEANT I NEEDED TO PRACTICE ON TWO THINGS NOT JUST THE GUITAR BUT THE MANDOLIN!! NOW WHY USE A MANDOLIN IN THIS TUNE??? WELL IT HAS 8 STRINGS INSTEAD OF 6. SO IT KINDA HELPS YOU "CHEAT" JUST A BIT WITH THOSE 2 EXTRA STRINGS. THIS TUNE REALLY SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL WITH THE 2 INSTRUMENTS TOGETHER... TRY THIS YOU'LL LIKE IT ALOT BUT...DONT USE NYLON STRINGS...SOUNDS MUCH BOLDER AND MORE PRONOUNCED...IF YOU HAVE A STEEL STRING GUITAR?? MY FAVORITE BRAND IS CALLED AN "OVATION" ITS GOT A SLIGHTLY ROUNDED BACK SIDE...AND COMES IN 6 OR 12 STRINGS.
MY ADVICE...DO NOT TRY TO PLAY THIS TUNE ON A 12 STRING UNLESS YOU ARE WELL SEASONED... IT'S VERY.. VERY HARD...NOT IMPOSSIBLE...BUT VERY VERY CHALLENGING. LOVE THE CONTENT LOVE IT!!!❤ THANK YOU!!!

@richardreinertson1335
It's fundamentally based on Travis picking. But it's VERY fast, and highly nuanced. I mean: Lindsey Buckingham imho deserves WAY more respect for his guitar work. His shit is genius.

@guysabol8743
A Fleetwood Mac song is hard to design as an instrumental piece SIMPLY because it truly ain't! And F M told us so years ago ! Ahem, lets take a superb song by Stevie Nicks. One that HE started by her singing in to a MIC. Period. He then had the lead guitar do his thing, and the band working it finally orchestrated the remaining sounds by his trusty programmers music table AS he did say once! SUPERB song, but IT was not ever recorded as musicians working the song AT FIRST ! Brillant ideas of reverb, harmonies, FREQUENCIES ! YET the group never played it, until they learned it! BUT knot to worry the song (yeah name 3, not a problem leave that up to reader) is superb, Stevie knocks it outa da stadium! Was always in awe that they could do this. but Her voice was it all along, and her friends picked up the melody line and went with it! AWESOME
