 | Es ist nicht sein erstes Mal, dass ein Film von ihm "nicht durch die Decke geht" und man erst später erkennt, warum er sich dafür entschieden hat.  | In defence for ppl complaining regarding the cgi dog, i know it still doesnt look proper, but this is a development in the cgi industry, pushing to stop using real animals in real life (also scenarios that would be impossible to do with a real animal).  | I just read the book, and honestly, it wasn't really meant to be a family movie. "Call of the Wild" was all about the brutality of survival. Any weakness, naivety, and stupidity was met with a savage death. Buck became the legend he was because he was ruthless as well as strong and cunning.
